Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026
This policy explains when you can cancel or reschedule a consultation and how refunds work. It applies to every patient, wherever you are booking from. Consultation fees are charged in Indian rupees (INR), and international cards are accepted. When you pay with a card issued elsewhere, your bank sets the exchange rate.
Bookings and payment
When you book, we hold the slot for a short time while you pay. The appointment is confirmed only once payment succeeds. If you don't finish paying in time, the hold is released and the slot goes back to the doctor's calendar.
The consultation fee and any applicable tax are shown in full before you confirm, so you always know the exact amount you'll be charged.
Cancelling or rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule from your appointments page. Do it at least 24 hours before the scheduled start and you can either move to another available slot for free or take a full refund.
Within 24 hours of the start, the doctor's time is already set aside for you, so the fee is no longer refundable. Where we can, we'll still offer you a one-time reschedule as a courtesy — just ask.
How refunds are paid
Refunds always go back to the card or account you paid with, through the same provider that took the payment. We start the refund within two business days of approving it. Most banks then show the money within five to seven business days, though some take a little longer.
For payments made on an international card, the amount you get back can differ slightly from what you paid. That's because your bank applies its own exchange rate to both the original charge and the refund, and that rate is outside our control.
If the doctor can't attend
If the doctor cancels, doesn't join, or the consultation can't go ahead because of a technical problem on our side, you're entitled to a full refund or a free reschedule — whichever you prefer. Just reach out and we'll make it right.
Missed appointments and late arrival
If you don't join a confirmed consultation and haven't cancelled in time, the fee isn't refundable, since the slot was held for you.
If you're running late, join as soon as you can. The doctor will wait where the schedule allows, but a visit that starts late may be shorter, as we can't always push into the next patient's time.
Asking us to look into a charge
If something went wrong or you think a refund is due, contact us within seven days of the consultation with your booking details and we'll review it.
